If you’ve been following me for a while, you know that almost two years ago, I launched The Unicorns Playbook with one mission: to help growth marketers and founders scale their startups.
From strategy breakdowns to real-world case studies, it was all about driving growth.
But along the way, I realized something: most people weren’t chasing startup growth. They wanted freedom. They wanted to escape the 9–5 and build something on their own terms.
Today, I’m excited to introduce Build Solo—the next evolution of that journey.

🦄 Why did I decide to create Buildsolo.io
When I first started The Unicorns Playbook, my goal was to share everything I knew about scaling startups.
And for a while, that worked.
I helped founders understand growth, strategy, and scale, most recently taking an AI startup from $0 to $1M per year.
But as I kept creating, I noticed something.
People weren’t asking me for the next startup hack.
They wanted to know how to escape the 9–5 and build something on their own.
Not a company with 10 employees, but a one-person business that gives them freedom, control, and the ability to live life on their terms.
To be honest, this is my thing too.
It’s what I’ve done my whole life—from my early days playing poker for cash, to building a portfolio of SEO affiliate sites, to running CPA offers (even though they flopped).
That’s what I know. That’s what I love.
So I made a decision.
I slowly shifted my content towards what I do best: building one-person businesses that scale.
I shared my Twitter (X) system—the same one I use to build my own brand. I redesigned the site to reflect this new direction.
And today, it’s official.
The Unicorns Playbook is now Build Solo.
The vision?
To build a community of solo founders, creators, and people who want to escape the grind and build profitable online businesses.
A place where we share the systems, the tools, and the playbooks that make it possible.
I’m pumped to have you on this journey.
